Routeburn Track
Another Great Walk, and again a truly great walk! Magnificent views, green bush, deep valleys, blue skies.. The Howden Hut (we started from the Te Anau end) is lovely situated at Lake Howden (where do all those people get their inspiration for hut names?)
Then it's on to the MacKenzie Hut, situated at lake....
From Lake MacKenzie the walk continues to Harris Saddle, with views to the Hollyford Valley deep down.
Once beyond Harris Saddle, Routeburn Valley appears.
