Millstream-Chichester National is in the Pilbara in North-Western WA. The park has a mixture of Aboriginal culture and white pastoral culture. It has been the homeland for the Yinjibarndi people for many centuries, and it has been a pastoral station for more than 100 years, before it became a National Park. Highlights include the Fortescue River, Python Pool, Mount Herbert, Crossing Pool and Deep Reach Pool. The best time to visit the National Park is in Winter (May to August), as it can be pretty hot and the weather can be pretty wild outside these months.
