The first time we visited Mt Chambers Gorge, was a couple of years ago, when we were on our way from the Flinders Ranges to Arkaroola in the Gammon Ranges. The weather (always something to keep a watchfull eye on when you're out in the bush) didn't look very promising. So after a short stop, we decided to move on, but of course, we would return. In 2005 we did go back and spent more time in this magnificent gorge. If you go for a walk in the gorge itself some really spectacular Aboriginal Art will be waiting for you. Also, at the end of the day, have a drink, while admiring the spectacular sun set of Mt Chambers.
In short, it's a place that will perfectly fit into a trip in this area and is well worth an overnight stay...
