Mount Walsh National Park

In the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, we can find the Coast Range. Part of this Coast Range are Mount Walsh and Mount Walsh National Park. The nearest town to this National Park is Biggenden, which lies 55 km West of Maryborough.
The park has steep forested slopes, sheltered gullies, rugged ridge lines and mountain areas with spectacular exposed granite outcrops. Source: Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service
There are three access points to the park, we took the main one, which is called National Park Road and can be found 2km East of Biggenden. At the end of this road is a nice picknic area with all important facilities, such as a barbie, a shelter and ammenities.
