Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge)
Katherine is about 400 km south of Darwin. It's the entry to the famous Katherine Gorge / Nitmiluk National Park. There are 13 gorges which are separated from each other by rapids. The first couple of gorges can be visited on a tourist boat, but if you want to see more, then you have to hire your own canoe. You can rent them for half a day, one day or two days..
