Ormiston Gorge is one of the (many) highlights of the West MacDonnell National Park, with its spectacular scenery. Ormiston Gorge is located 135 km West of Alice Springs, and can be accessed from the Namatjira Drive. The roads to Ormiston Gorge are sealed, so anybody can go there.
The gorge has an almost permanent waterhole, so you can bring your swimming gear. And of course there's all the oppurtunities in the world to make nice walks and take in the stunning scenery and see the wildlife around..
