Newnes and the Wolgan Valley
The Wolgan river can be found in one of the finest areas of New South Wales. The National Parks which it runs through, Wollemi National Park and Gardens of Stone National Park, are both part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. The scenery is dramatic. Huge sandstone cliffs, a lovely gently flowing river, and the remains of what once was a thriving industrial town.
